JOB OPENING – Christ Church Harbor Apartments

Christ Church Harbor Apartments (CCHA), Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Housing Administrator to provide on-site supervision of daily operations that focus on the well-being of the residents. Working under the supervision of the CCHA Board of Directors, the Administrator leads the management team in business accounts, leasing, building maintenance, social events and more. What follows are specific areas of responsibility in which the successful candidate must have proven experience. The Administrator is evaluated in:
 
  • CCHA Board of Directors – a productive partnership where the Administrator meets quarterly with the Board, submitting reports as needed to enhance CCHA Mission
  • Staff Supervision – leadership that directs managers to excel in their fields of building maintenance; leasing & HUD recertification; office management; and resident activities
  • Finance -works with CCHA accountants to: prepare & follow annual budgets; manages staff payroll ; hire/supervise contractors; manage assets, capital accounts & invoices
  • Government Compliance – satisfies Federal, State & Local laws & regulations in: HUD requirements in leasing/recertification; OSHA & health inspections; fire & safety; litigation
  • Human Resources – conducts staff hiring, evaluations & termination; staff schedules; staff health insurance & retirement plans; resolve EEO issues; Monthly Newsletter; volunteers
  • Resident Issues – creates/ enforces policies that ensure fair, respectful treatment of all residents, staff & visitors; manages disputes; resolve lease violations; processes evictions

    Requirements: Applicants must meet the following standards
  • Communication Skills – proven excellence in oral & written communication
  • Computer Literacy- Microsoft Office Suite; desired knowledge of Raydiant & Vardi Classic
  • Education – 4 year degree (Allied Health, Business or Hospitality majors preferred)
  • Work Experience – 6+ years in Senior Housing; with 2+ years in management, preferred
  • Legal – Employment Pending Background Investigation
  • Current, Valid Maryland Driver’s License
  • Passion for helping seniors
  • References – 3 letters of recommendation from business/ professional sources

    Salary & Benefits
  • Salary range : $75 – $90k
  • Generous Benefit package includes: health plan, 401k & parking
